Where Future NC Choirs Stars Get Started

While the members of our advanced choirs get an early start on their work for the school year, the next generation of NC Choirs performers joins them to learn their first show choir steps.

North Central’s annual Half Notes Camp pairs young performers aged 3rd-8th grade with members of Counterpoints to learn the vocal and choreography techniques our show choirs use every day. The week-long half-day camp culminates in a Friday night show at Birge Auditorium featuring what the Half Notes, Counterpoints, and Descants learned during the week.

Many future NC Choirs performers got their start in Half Notes. Information on signing up for the 2027 Half Notes Camp will be available in February.
