Accents

9th-12th Grade Women’s Concert/Show Choir

The Accents are consistently awarded Gold Medal Ratings with Distinction at ISSMA Contest in Group 1.

Accents is an intermediate level women’s choir providing students with learning opportunities that continue to enable them to:

  1. Develop skills of proper tone production, diction, technique and intonation
  2. Develop basic skills in music reading
  3. Demonstrate stage movement, blocking,or choreography appropriate to the music studied
  4. Display well developed solo and ensemble skills in singing selections from a variety of historical and cultural genres.

Varsity Singers

9th – 12th Grade Men’s Choir

Varsity Singers is an intermediate level choir that provides students with learning opportunities that enable them to:

  1. Develop skills of proper tone production, diction, technique and intonation
  2. Develop skills in music reading
  3. Demonstrate stage movement, blocking, or choreography appropriate to the music studied
  4. Display well-developed solo and ensemble skills in singing selections from a variety of historical and cultural genres.

Varsity Singers study, rehearse, and perform music and is an advanced level men’s choir. They perform both Concert choir and Show Choir literature.

Encores

Rondos

10th-12th Grade Women’s Choir

The Rondos received Gold Medal Ratings at ISSMA Contest in Sight-Reading, Concert Choir, and Ensemble Competitions.

Rondos is an intermediate level women’s choir providing students with learning opportunities that continue to enable them to:

  1. Develop skills of proper tone production, diction, technique and intonation
  2. Develop basic skills in music reading
  3. Demonstrate stage movement, blocking,or choreography appropriate to the music studied
  4. Display well developed solo and ensemble skills in singing selections from a variety of historical and cultural genres.
